Terms and conditions
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These terms apply to every ride, tour and activity you book on www.tripbh.com, and to your use of the website. By booking, you accept them.
TRIPBH may change these terms at any time by publishing a new version here, with the date at the top. Each booking follows the terms shown here when it was made; using the website after a change means you accept the new terms.
1. TRIPBH and its partners
- 1.1
TRIPBH is run by Explore Middle East Hotel Booking Worldwide Co. W.L.L. (CR 95399-1), a company licensed in the Kingdom of Bahrain to provide tourism services and to manage tourist transportation through local suppliers. Its office is at Office 71, 7th Floor, Blaire Executive Suites, Building 1301, Road 4026, Block 340, Kingdom of Bahrain. In these terms, "TRIPBH" means that company.
- 1.2
TRIPBH arranges premium chauffeur rides in Bahrain. Each trip is carried out by one of TRIPBH's partners: a licensed chauffeur company that TRIPBH has checked.
- 1.3
TRIPBH is your contact for everything about your booking, from confirming it to any question or complaint afterwards. TRIPBH doesn't name the chauffeur company, but your chauffeur's name, car and plate appear on your trip page before pickup.
- 1.4
In these terms, "you" means the person who makes the booking. If you book for someone else, make sure every passenger knows these terms; you remain responsible for the booking.
- 1.5
These terms are the whole agreement between you and TRIPBH about your booking. Terms of your own, such as a company's purchasing terms, don't apply unless TRIPBH has agreed to them in writing.
2. Making a booking
- 2.1
When you press Book now, you send TRIPBH a booking request at the price shown. The trip page that opens shows that TRIPBH has received it; it isn't a confirmation yet.
- 2.2
TRIPBH then calls or messages you on the mobile number you gave, to confirm your booking and agree how you'll pay. Your booking is confirmed once TRIPBH has confirmed it with you.
- 2.3
The details you give must be complete and correct, including the pickup and drop-off, the time, the number of passengers and bags, and any flight number. Bookings made by automated means aren't accepted.
- 2.4
A one-way trip takes you from the pickup to the drop-off you booked. With a by-the-hour or full-day booking, your chauffeur and car are at your disposal from the pickup time for the hours booked (a full day is 10 hours), and the booking ends in Bahrain.
- 2.5
Your pickup time is the one in your booking confirmation. For an airport pickup, give your flight number: if your flight lands late, your pickup time moves with it.
- 2.6
To book, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
3. Prices and payment
- 3.1
The price is for the whole trip as booked, in Bahraini dinars, and is fixed when you book. It depends on the class, the trip and the day and time of pickup, and includes any VAT that applies. An amount shown in another currency is a guide only: you pay in Bahraini dinars.
- 3.2
To stay confirmed, your booking must be paid, or its payment guaranteed in a way TRIPBH accepts, at least 24 hours before pickup. If you book less than 24 hours before pickup, payment is due as soon as TRIPBH confirms your booking.
- 3.3
If payment isn't received or guaranteed in time, TRIPBH may cancel your booking. If a payment fails or is reversed, you pay the charges TRIPBH's bank makes for it.
- 3.4
TRIPBH tells you how you can pay when it confirms your booking. If you pay by card, TRIPBH bears the card fees and may place a hold on your card to guarantee payment. If you pay by bank transfer, any bank or currency charges are yours. You can ask TRIPBH for a receipt or invoice for any payment.
- 3.5
Anything added to your trip after you book is charged on top of the price: waiting beyond the free waiting time, extra stops or distance, extra hours, ending a by-the-hour booking outside Bahrain, and luggage or pets that weren't in your booking.
- 3.6
Extra distance is charged at TRIPBH's prices for your class, and extra time at its hourly price for your class: waiting by the minute, and extra hours by each half hour started. Where it can, TRIPBH tells you before adding a charge, and it tells you what's due after the trip.
- 3.7
If your trip turns out shorter than booked, or you use fewer hours, the price stays the same.
- 3.8
Only one promo code or offer applies to a booking: if you have both, the one that saves you more applies. A code can be used only as its conditions allow, has no cash value and can't be exchanged for money.
- 3.9
Companies and travel agents with a TRIPBH credit account pay under their account's terms instead.
- 3.10
When you pay online by card or BenefitPay, you pay through the secure payment service of TRIPBH's bank, over an encrypted connection. Your card details go to the bank: TRIPBH never sees or keeps your full card number or security code.
4. Changes and cancellation
- 4.1
You can cancel free of charge until 24 hours before pickup. If you cancel after that, the full price is due.
- 4.2
You can change your booking until 12 hours before pickup, if TRIPBH can arrange the change. If a change alters the price, TRIPBH tells you the new price before making it: a higher price means you pay the difference, and a lower one isn't refunded, as the price you booked stays.
- 4.3
If a change can't be made to your booking as it stands, TRIPBH may treat it as a cancellation and a new booking; the cancellation rules then apply to the original booking.
- 4.4
During your trip, you can ask your chauffeur or TRIPBH for a change, such as an extra stop or extra hours. They'll make it where they can, and it's charged as set out in Prices and payment.
- 4.5
To cancel or change your booking, contact TRIPBH as explained below. A cancellation counts from when TRIPBH receives it.
- 4.6
Any money due back to you is refunded the same way you paid.
5. Waiting time and no-shows
- 5.1
Your chauffeur waits for you free of charge for 15 minutes after the pickup time, or 60 minutes at the airport. If your chauffeur arrives after the pickup time, the free waiting starts when they arrive.
- 5.2
After that, waiting is charged by the minute at TRIPBH's hourly price for your class.
- 5.3
For a one-way trip, if no passenger has come to the pickup 30 minutes after the pickup time (60 minutes at the airport), or after your chauffeur arrived if that was later, your chauffeur may leave. The booking then counts as a no-show: the full price is due, but no waiting charge is added.
- 5.4
If you've agreed a later pickup time with your chauffeur or TRIPBH, your chauffeur waits for you, and waiting is charged as above.
- 5.5
A by-the-hour or full-day booking starts at the pickup time, even if you're late. If no passenger has come by the end of the hours booked, it counts as a no-show and the full price is due.
- 5.6
If you're running late, tell TRIPBH as soon as you can. Being late doesn't move your pickup time unless TRIPBH agrees.
6. If your class isn't available
- 6.1
If no car of the class you booked is available, TRIPBH gives you a car of a higher class at the price you booked.
- 6.2
If no car of a higher class is available either, TRIPBH cancels your booking: you pay nothing, and anything you've paid is refunded in full.
- 6.3
TRIPBH may also give you a car of a higher class at any time, at no extra cost.
7. Vehicles
- 7.1
Photos and model names are for reference only. They show the kind of car in each class, not the car you'll get.
- 7.2
You book a class, not a particular car. Your car will be of the class you booked, with at least the passenger seats and bag space shown for that class. Its make, model, colour, year and features may differ from the photo; if they do, your booking and its price stay the same.
- 7.3
Every car is subject to availability with the licensed chauffeur company that carries out your trip. TRIPBH's terms are the only terms you agree to, and that company must follow them.
- 7.4
Standard Sedan is our lowest-priced class, so your car may be a more basic model within the class. Business Sedan and Luxury are executive saloons and First Class our most premium class; in all three, the make and model may differ from the photo.
- 7.5
The SUV classes cover large vehicles and the Van classes vans and coaster buses, each seating the number of passengers shown for the class, so your car may be a different model from the one in the photo.
8. Passengers, luggage, children and pets
- 8.1
Your price covers the passengers and bags in your booking, up to the seats and bags shown for your class. Your chauffeur may refuse passengers or luggage beyond that, or anything that can't be carried safely.
- 8.2
When you book, tell TRIPBH in the notes for your chauffeur about any extra or bulky luggage, such as a wheelchair, pushchair or golf bag. Luggage that wasn't agreed may be refused, or carried for an extra charge.
- 8.3
Pets travel only if agreed when you book, and in a closed carrier suited to them. This doesn't apply to an animal that the law requires your chauffeur to carry.
- 8.4
For children, give their number and ages, and the child seats you need, in the notes when you book. TRIPBH confirms before your trip whether the seats are available and any charge for them. Children must travel as Bahrain's traffic law requires.
- 8.5
A child travelling without an adult may be refused.
- 8.6
Weapons, and anything illegal or dangerous, aren't carried.
- 8.7
If your chauffeur can't carry you because of something you didn't tell TRIPBH when you booked, or told it wrongly, such as more passengers or bags than your class takes, or a child seat you didn't ask for, the full price is still due.
- 8.8
For a trip to another Gulf country, every passenger needs a valid passport and any visa or permit the journey requires. Time at the border is outside TRIPBH's control, and if a passenger isn't allowed to cross, the full price is still due.
9. In the car
- 9.1
Every passenger must wear a seat belt for the whole ride, follow the traffic law and do as the chauffeur asks. The chauffeur is responsible for driving you safely.
- 9.2
Don't open the doors while the car is moving, throw anything out or lean out of it. Ask the chauffeur before using any of the car's equipment.
- 9.3
Smoking, vaping, alcohol and illegal substances aren't allowed in the car. Please ask the chauffeur before eating.
- 9.4
If the car needs extra cleaning because of smoking, spills or sickness, you pay for the cleaning and for the time the car is out of service. You're also responsible for any damage that you or your passengers cause to the car.
- 9.5
Your chauffeur may refuse or end a ride if a passenger puts safety at risk, behaves abusively or breaks the law. The full price is then still due.
10. Responsibility and limitation of liability
- 10.1
TRIPBH is your one contact for any complaint or claim about your trip. The chauffeur company carries out the trip under its own licence and insurance.
- 10.2
TRIPBH's liability for a booking is limited to the value of that booking. The limit doesn't apply where Bahrain's law doesn't allow liability to be limited, such as for fraud, gross negligence or injury caused by negligence.
- 10.3
Neither TRIPBH nor the chauffeur company is responsible for delays outside their control, such as traffic, road or causeway closures, severe weather, strikes or a delayed flight. In such cases you may have to wait longer, or your trip may be cancelled at short notice; if it is, anything you've paid is refunded.
- 10.4
Unless it acted with fraud or gross negligence, TRIPBH is responsible only for loss that could reasonably be foreseen when you booked.
- 10.5
The limit in point 10.2 covers every kind of loss, direct or indirect, including loss of profit or business and loss caused by using, or being unable to use, the website: as far as Bahrain's law allows, TRIPBH's liability never exceeds the value of the booking concerned.
11. Lost property
- 11.1
Please check you have everything before you leave the car. If you leave something behind, contact TRIPBH with your booking number as soon as you can, and TRIPBH will ask the chauffeur company to look for it.
- 11.2
If it's found, TRIPBH arranges for you to collect it, or has it sent to you at your cost. Neither TRIPBH nor the chauffeur company is responsible for things left in the car.
12. Complaints
- 12.1
If something about your trip wasn't right, tell TRIPBH as soon as you can, ideally within 7 days, and give your booking number. That lets TRIPBH check with the chauffeur company while the details are fresh.
- 12.2
TRIPBH looks into every complaint and tells you what it has found and what it will do.
- 12.3
If you're not satisfied, you can contact the consumer protection directorate at Bahrain's Ministry of Industry and Commerce, or take the matter to the courts of Bahrain. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under Bahrain's consumer protection law.
13. Your details
- 13.1
When you book, TRIPBH keeps the details you give: your name, mobile number and email, your trip, and any flight number and notes.
- 13.2
TRIPBH uses them only to arrange your trip and help you with it. The chauffeur company that carries out your trip gets only what it needs for the trip. Your details are never sold.
- 13.3
TRIPBH sends your ride updates by WhatsApp, phone or email. It sends you offers only if you've asked for them, and you can stop them at any time.
- 13.4
TRIPBH uses service providers to run its website, messages and email. Some of them store data outside Bahrain.
- 13.5
TRIPBH handles your details under Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018). To see, correct or delete your details, contact TRIPBH. Some records, such as invoices, must be kept by law.
- 13.6
TRIPBH's privacy policy, on its own page, explains all of this in full.
14. Using the website
- 14.1
The website's content, including its text, photos and logos, belongs to TRIPBH or those who license it to TRIPBH. You may use it to find and book rides, but not copy, change or republish it.
- 14.2
TRIPBH may change the website, or pause or stop online booking, at any time. Bookings that are already confirmed aren't affected.
- 14.3
TRIPBH works to keep the website available and correct, but can't promise it will always work without interruption or error. TRIPBH isn't responsible for other websites it links to.
- 14.4
If you misuse the website or break these terms, you're responsible for the loss this causes TRIPBH, including reasonable legal costs.
- 14.5
The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". As far as Bahrain's law allows, TRIPBH gives no promise or warranty, express or implied, about the website, including that it's free of errors or viruses or fit for a particular purpose. TRIPBH's liability stays limited as section 10 sets out: never more than the value of the booking concerned.
15. Tours and activities
- 15.1
Tours and activities on TRIPBH are run by licensed tour companies that TRIPBH works with. Your voucher names the company that runs your tour; the tour's page shows what's included, where it starts and how long it lasts.
- 15.2
When you book a tour, the tour company confirms it within the time shown on the tour's page, and your voucher comes by email. If the tour company can't run it, nothing is due, and anything you've paid is refunded in full.
- 15.3
Each tour has its own cancellation policy, shown on its page, when you book and on your voucher: free cancellation until 24, 48 or 72 hours before the start, or non-refundable. That policy applies to your tour instead of point 4.1.
- 15.4
If nobody joins the tour at its start, it counts as a no-show, and the price is due.
- 15.5
The rest of these terms apply to tours as far as they fit, such as payment, complaints, your details, your account and the law.
16. Your account and booking links
- 16.1
Some TRIPBH services need a sign-in, such as TRIPBH Business for companies. The details you give for your account must be correct, and kept up to date.
- 16.2
Keep your password, PIN and sign-in codes confidential, and don't share your account or let anyone else use it. You're responsible for everything done with your account.
- 16.3
If you think someone else knows your password or has used your account, change your password and tell TRIPBH at once. TRIPBH may suspend or close an account that's misused or breaks these terms.
- 16.4
Your booking page has a private link: anyone with it can see your booking. Keep it confidential, and share it only with the people travelling with you.
17. Sanctions
- 17.1
TRIPBH doesn't offer or provide its services to, or accept bookings or payments from, anyone in a country or territory under sanctions of the United States' Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Nations or the Kingdom of Bahrain, or anyone named on their sanctions lists.
- 17.2
TRIPBH may refuse or cancel a booking, or decline a payment, to comply with sanctions or with Bahrain's laws against money laundering.
18. Law and courts
- 18.1
These terms, and every booking made under them, are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- 18.2
The courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain alone have jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or a booking.
- 18.3
You can't transfer your booking, or your rights under it, to someone else without TRIPBH's agreement.
- 18.4
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest of them still applies.
- 18.5
These terms are published in English and Arabic. If the two texts differ, the English text prevails.
19. Contacting TRIPBH
- 19.1
After you book, TRIPBH calls or messages you to confirm. To change or cancel your booking, or for any question or complaint, reply on that number and give your booking number.
- 19.2
You can also call or WhatsApp TRIPBH on +973 1661 0042, or email sales@tripbh.com.
